A few years back I was lucky enough to represent a Danish showroom here in NYC and travel twice a year to the incredible Copenhagen Fashion Week, held in February and August. I can’t believe how much it has grown in such a short time, all thanks to Eva Kruse and my dear friend Anne Christine Persson. FINALLY for the first time, February’s CFW did not overlap with NYFW as it always had in the past, allowing for more international press/buyers to attend. Alas, I was unable to go, but thanks to the amazing websites http://www.copenhagenfashionweek.com and http://www.tv.copenhagenfashionweek.com I got a virtual Scandi fashion fix. I was most excited for the runway return of Baum und Pferdgarten - one of my all time favorite Danish brands. Click on the photo to see the rest of their fantastic AW 2011 show.
